Premiered to excellent reviews and overpowering appreciation at the Cleveland Thyagaraja Aradhana, Sangeeth Symphony is a unique idea conceptualised and conducted by Vidwan K.N. Shashikiran. The Symphony saw enthusiastic participation from over a hundred talented children from across the United States of America in the previous years! Following its remarkable success, Sangeeth Symphony is scheduled to be presented on May 6th, 2016 at 7.30 pm at Cary Arts Center, Raleigh. The unique "MSS Sangeeth Symphony" concept this year will pay its tributes to the nightingale of carnatic music Bharat Ratna M.S.Subbulakshmi. This will include simple krithis and devotional songs performed and popularized by the Queen of music.
- Ages: 4 & above (no upper limit); Adults can also participate
- Every fan of MSS can participate this year
- Reasonable shruti and laya sense required
- Students should be in Geetham level or higher
- Students may register for either vocal, instrumental or percussion category
- If a music school is registering, it is up to the local gurus to judge and choose students
Initially the students will be provided an online access to the songs, to be performed for the symphony and get trained through their local Gurus.

Participants are required to be in traditional Indian attire.
Girls: Skirt (Pavadai) and blouse, half sarees or sarees. Colors are individual's / school's choice.
Boys: Kurta (Preferably white or half white) and Pyjama, dhoti.
